Terms of use

The track sheets are careful, but the mountain does not read them. Your safety on the Tiers is your own responsibility.

Effective 2026-10-28.

Use of the field guide

The content of deloraine.org is published by the Meander Valley Highland Heritage Trust for personal, non-commercial use by walkers and visitors. You may print or save pages for your own trip planning. You may not republish, scrape or resell the track sheets, tables, maps or planner without written permission from the Trust.

Track notes are a guide only

Bushwalking on the Great Western Tiers, the Central Plateau and in the Mole Creek karst carries real risk, including exposure, falls on scree, flooding and hypothermia in any month. Times, distances, elevations, temperatures and gear lists on this site, including those produced by the track time planner, are estimates based on the Trust's logs and on general rules such as Naismith's rule and the standard atmospheric lapse rate. They are not a substitute for current Tasmania Parks and Wildlife alerts, a Bureau of Meteorology forecast, a topographic map, your own judgement and appropriate experience. You are responsible for your own safety and for every decision on the track.

No warranty

Track sheets and karst notes are published for general bushwalking reference. To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, the Trust excludes all warranties and accepts no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its contents. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Intellectual property
